Francisco is a city year member at Kelvyn Park High School. He was born in Chicago, and he grew up in Little village on the south side. His mother is from Guadalajara. he lived in Mexico for a while but his parents decided to come here so Francisco could get an education. Francisco enjoyed living more in Mexico because it never snowed and in school they had one full hour of recess and also another hour of lunch. His favorite hobby is playing sports. He loves to play soccer, and he’s good at it. He likes to do photography and loves being with kids. In his free time he likes to ride his bike outside and play fifa game on playstation.
Francisco’s biggest regret? He’s never regretted anything because all the things or mistakes he did, he learned from them. So, pretty much all his mistakes weren't regrets, they were lessons. His goal that he would like to accomplish is be a millionaire. He would love to be famous, to come out in the t.v
What Francisco thinks about school or education is that “even though we got the opportunity to go to school I think school should be use in another way. Students in education should be more open mind,” like be open to anything you’ve been taught to. Kids should be motivated to do what they want to do. Violence made Francisco who he is now cause he learned from it. Yes he had “many bad influences and in school there was gang violence too” but he knew better. He knew there was something better out there. You can still be someone in life. He was influenced a lot by his grandpa and dad, who were both tough guys that always taught him to do smart decisions. Francisco was going through the wrong path but because his grandpa and dad’s help he’s still in this world making the right decisions. This is why he's still here with us telling us on how to do good in school not on how to get shot or be in the streets gangbanging.
