Janet Brito

Janet Brito just finish her first year of college and she graduated from Kelvyn Park high school. Janet and her family  have a pretty close relationship, they get along well with each other. Janet’s parents were always there for her when she was growing up. Janet’s childhood was pretty good, my favorite childhood memory, would have to be going with my sisters to the park and playing in the sprinklers.
College is really hard but if you stay focused and on top of your work you can succeed. My high school experience was good, I liked it alot. I had a good relationship with my teachers. In ten years I see myself back in college to become a lawyer. Cps suspension rate, in my opinion is really high. I didn’t really consider dropping out of high school cause I had support around me. I would do high school again, i missed it a lot because after high school you have more responsibilities. Its not like when you were in high school that you relied on your parents

Cps suspension rate, in my opinion do community work because it brings everybody closer. Is really high. “It’s really unfair of what they do”, especially with the zero tolerance policy. You get suspended easily for no reason. So i think its not fair they should change it.  if i was in charge of CPS, instead of giving the kids detention i would make them do community work.

In my childhood i seen a lot of violence but not as much and then once you seen that. I realized that i wanted to be a lawyer so i can help people. Since second grade i had this dream in which i wanted to be a lawyer and as the years went by i seen all these violence. I wanted to get into the criminal justice. i wanna be a probation officer to stop them from doing bad things.

When i do something for the community and i see it changing that's the thing that inspires me to do it even more and i done a lot of stuff in the community. I would like in the community a change better like we should be more connected to each other.violence affects my community in a way where a push people out. Especially when they see a lot of violence it makes them get push out and move into other neighborhoods.
