Meliton. Ochoa
June,3,2014
Period 6

Mr. Diamond grew up in a presumably black neighborhood, and some of his community was Hispanic. Mr Diamond played basketball most of his life, he uses basketball to get away and let out all feelings, frustration and it also helps him think. Mr. Diamonds family is really close they talk a lot on their spare time. Mr. Diamond love’s having siblings. One of his quote is “everybody has personal challenges, it goes from tying your shoes,to solving for x, don't settle for not knowing, even if you have to watch someone do it 100 times you will get it eventually”. He believes education is needed and everyone has education globally and everyone is on the same plain field when it comes to education. Another thing Mr.Diamond said was that everyone graduates from Kindergarten and a little fewer graduate from middle school and even less graduate from high school even even less than that go to college. He said people don't finish college because they weren't prepare to become independent. Mr. Diamond described his high school year as a roller coaster he was popular but he never quit and never thought of dropping out because he said he loves school because school gets your mind off of stuff and at home what do you have to do?, not much but to sit around and do nothing and at school you get to socialize with a lot of people and at the end you find out who you are. He believes suspension rates are misguided because they usually blame the kids who didn't do much and the one’s that did they don't get suspended at all, and he also said its up to us if we decide to do work , its on us if we miss a day because its our choice if we decide to play sick and stay home, he said to us “start strong and end strong and slack in between”. Mr.Diamond said to us his future goal is to learn to play piano because he doesn't knows how to sing and he will love to learn. He also said if he has an opportunity to return to K.P he will because he wants to see everyone who actually made it and who didn't make it. Mr.Diamond describes a hero someone who helps the community but not wanting anything in return like no fame or glory the hero will do it just to save someone from tragedy he said anyone could be a hero!
